OMARC and its members are always willing, ready and able to provide support via Amateur Radio with various public service events as trained communications operators.
A number of OMARC members are active with their local OEM (RACES) and Ocean or Monmouth county ARES programs.
Many members have successfully completed the ARRL's Introduction to Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Courses, EC-001: Level I and higher and some have taken the FEMA IS-2 course.
Club members have provided assistance in numerous public service events providing communication through the club sponsored 145.110Mhz 2 meter repeater in Farmingdale and via other local repeaters and simplex.
